Trigger Live Chat

Trigger in livechat are executed when a specific event occurs in a chat. For example:

  • What message should the system automatically send after a customer enters their information and starts a chat?

  • What notifications should be sent when an agent accepts a chat, is invited to a chat, or leaves a chat?

To add an auto-trigger action:


Go to Menu > IZIMessage > Triggers and configure the desired actions.

(1) Add trigger

(2) Edit trigger

  • (a) Trigger name
  • (b) Meet all of the following conditions: The chat must meet all the conditions specified in this section.
  • (c) Meet any of the following conditions: The chat must meet at least one of the conditions specified in this section.
  • (d) Perform these actions: These actions will be executed when the chat meets the conditions in sections (b) and (c).
