Install the Knowledge Base App

To install the app, go to Menu/ Marketplace/ Knowledge Base App.

 

  • Select (1) to enable permission settings for the app. If permissions are not needed, you can skip this step.

  • Click Save to complete the installation.

 

 

Using the Knowledge Base App

(1) Categories

(2) Sections

(3) Articles

(4) Add content

               (a) Add a Category: Enter a title, and optionally a description. Click Save.

           (b) Add a Section: Sections belong to Categories. You must create a Category first.

  • Enter a title, and optionally a description.

  • Select the Category for this Section. Click Save.

           (c) Add an Article: Articles belong to Sections. You must create a Section first.

  • Enter a title and article content. Upload files (if any).

  • Select the Section for this Article. Click Save.

(5) Report

(d) Search Box: Enter a search term and press Enter.

 

(e) Personal Search Statistics: View the number of searches performed by the user.

 

(f) System-wide Search Statistics: Track keyword searches across the entire system.

Uninstall the Knowledge Base App

If you no longer need the app, you can disable or remove it.

Go to Menu/ My Installed Apps/ Knowledge Base App, then click Disable or Delete.
